NFA Rice: WASTED!!!

I lost my cable since I started working in my new job.  My work time complicates the schedule going to cable office and also, I was just being lazy all the time. LOL!
Since I don't have a cable, I have no choice but to watch free channels like ABS-CBN and GMA7.  After work, I turned on the television and watch whatever program it showing.  It's news time always.  I am not a fan of local news.  It depresses me seeing stuffs happening to the country, to my fellow citizen, at the expense of our government.

Lately, I've been seeing in the news that there are rotted NFA rice somewhere in National Food Authority warehouses.  We all know how expensive rice nowadays.  Before, with your fifteen (Php15.00) you can buy half kilo of rice for a small family.  Now, your 15pesos has no value.  Yes, it is already there.  All we need to do is deal with it.  Fine! But...hearing what the news was saying...%&$ all your !#$%!!!

One field reporter interviewed an official (you are lucky I didn't catch your name!) about their plan with these rotten rice.  He said, it's not fully rotten and still can be used for reach out program like Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)'s feeding program.

Are you kidding me? Really sir?!? That is your great plan??? Bravo!!! Talk about human rights huh?!?  You are supposed to protect people specially children who can't be protected by their parents from poverty and/or malnourishment. Why would you feed them such food?  This man disgust me.  You should be ashamed of yourself dude!

See how this official waste Filipinos' money? We pay our taxes rightfully.  They are being compensated by our tax money, but do we get the service we deserved? NO!  We worked hard to put food on the table for our family. Parents were forced to leave their family to support their needs, and this is what we get from the government?  So disappointing!

Now, we are in the process of transitioning. New officials, new government.  Is there something to look forward to or just the continuation of what the previous administration left?  Let's see how it goes.

For heaven sake, do something right! Prove to the Filipino people that there's nothing to regret putting you on that seat.

I am losing hope.  I sympathized the people who are greatly affected by this mismanagement.  I'm sorry for all your sufferings.

With this kind of governance, we are hopeless.  It is what it is!

Is Morale Not That Important For You?

I won't drop names of whom these companies issue uniforms that makes an employee not comfortable wearing it at work.

It bums me out seeing office employees wearing uniforms that does not look like you're working in an office...more like in a household.  I have nothing against uniforms or househelpers' uniform.  I actually agree that an employed citizen should have proper attire for identification or whatsoever.  It would also save us pennies for laundries.

But for an office environment, do you think it is fit to wear uniform that is designed like...hhhmmm...how should I describe it without offending anyone? Let's just say, watch "Endless Love" at GMA7.  What is Marianne Rivera's uniform in that show?  Did you get my point?  I mean, who the !%@& designed that kind of uniform for office employees???

Employees should feel good wearing something that represents the company.  They should also be motivated to do better at work...to love their job! Do you think, wearing something like that would make these employees love their job?  No way! Not only they became uncomfortable, it also decreases their morale.  They would asked "what the hell am I wearing? I worked hard to get where I am, why am I feeling that I am nothing? That I have accomplished nothing? That I am deep down below?

An organization, big or small, should take part in employees' growth.  They are not there just to compensate an individual but to build morale of each employees too.  A proper clothing design is just a small matter to motivate an employee, why would companies deprive it?  Think about it!

What I was trying to say is that, employers should treat their employees equally and with respect.  They should make employees feel that they are part of the company and not slaves.  No matter how we see it, it is a give and take relationship.  It's not all about compensation or benefits.  There are employees who cares more about learning, growing and building morale as their motivation.  They are at their best in doing their job if they have self-esteem, comfortable at work environment, etc.

I'm just telling you...DON'T MAKE ME WEAR THAT S@#T! It is what it is!

True Filipino Value

This week, I had the chance to watch news on television.  I was out on the loop because I just started working in my new job and when I got home, I was really exhausted even to turn on the television.

One night, the news said that Mayweather, Sr. was speaking trash about our Pinoy Hero Manny Pacquiao.  I wonder what was that all about?  I sensed that Mayweather was really insecure with Pacman.  His attitude didn't even bother me.  With all the words coming out of his mouth, look what it reflects.  Bitterness! Insecurities!

I am not a fan of boxing. Not even a Pacquiao fan. I haven't seen all his fight.  But I'm still proud of him.  Why wouldn't I? We have the same race.  We are Filipinos.

What made me more proud of him? Even though he didn't have formal education, he have this value a true Filipino have.  He did not take all what Mayweather speak of seriously.  It didn't affect him.  He didn't talk back.  He have respect for himself.  I admire him for that.

Yes, there's a freedom of speech.  Anyone can speak their mind. But always remember, freedom is not absolute.  There is a responsibility beyond that freedom.  It is what it is.

Perfect Bohol Adventure

Have you ever been to Bohol? I dreamed of being there and experience the adventure from paradise.  One night, I was amused by the pictures and all information about Bohol when I surf the net.  My mind began to wonder....

I wonder how it feels like to board on a plane knowing that when it goes down, I'll be standing in a different soil.  And when I reached the door outside the airport, a man raises a board with my name on it.  Offers to carry my luggage and sent me to my hotel up to my designated room.  Excellent service from the hotel!

After resting a bit from a two hour flight, it will be nice to walk around, find things, places that does not include in the travel package.  First stop...FOOD!  If I could find a restaurant like JJS Dimsum & Restaurant that serves tasty foods in a large quantity with cheap prices...that would be sooooooo awesome!  Meals that is good for 4 actually can feed 6 to 8 persons. Did I mention the food was yummy???

The next day, the real adventure starts.  First location on the itenirary is the Blood Compact Site.  According to history, this is the spot were the friendship between Datu Sikatuna of Bohol and Miguel Lopez de Legazpi of Spain took place.  The two leader had a ritual where they entered a pact of friendship and end the hostility against one another.

Fact:  The tourist guide have told us that this is not the EXACT location of the pact.  Too bad, I didn't took a picture of the exact location where the pact really took place.

Next must-see spot is the Clarin Ancestral House.  It is a traditional Filipino-Spanish designed home with long slanting roofs covered with nipa leaves.  It is located in the town of Loay. Don Aniceto Velez Clarin owns the ancestral house.  He was the former governor of Bohol.  According to the tourist guide, this house is the last one standing from burning houses back to the days of the Spanish regime.

Since it became a tourist spot, a lot of celebrity like Kris Aquino and her family took the time to see the preserved house.

Look at that! I can do baby James' pose!

Amazed with the alcohol collection especially with this one particular drink that is 100 years old.
Fact: Back in the old times, wealth was measured according to the size of woods use for floors.

 Antique kitchenwares

Funny how the tourist guide clearly defends that Baclayon was not derived from the word "bakla" (gay).  Baclayon Church is one of the oldest church located in the Bohol. Everything around the church are original except for the roof.  They said, the schedule for wedding ceremonies were closed.  Whoever plans to get married in this church have to inform the staff a year before the wedding date.  That's how famous the church is.

if you want a solemn moment, you can spend it here.

Before roaming around the church, the tourists who wear shorts or sleeveless is required to wear clothing to cover the skin.

Hello Tarsier! Did you know that tarsiers have suicidal tendency.  Tourists are required to turn off the flash of their cameras to avoid the tarsiers to get depress.  When they do, they intend to bang their heads or just stop breathing until they became lifeless.
Tourists are not allowed to touch the tarsiers.  It causes stress too.  Look! I couldn't touch it so I put a horn in it! huh!!!
Aahhh...Chocolate Hills, located at Carmen, Bohol.  To see a clear view of the hills, you have to climb the 214 steps to the top of the observation hill.

While waiting for a clear space to take pictures at the hills, you can make a wish on the wishing well.

Last stop for the 3days-2nights travel package is the Loboc River.  Here, you'll find the floating restaurant where you can dine while enjoying the sceneries.  Plus,  there's a great entertainment from the musicians on-board.  Great meals I might add!

If you truly are a nature-lover, this will be awesome!

Chillin' at the floating restaurant with other tourists.

The helpful tourist guides.
Somewhere along the Loboc River, there's one stop where you can find a tribe.  They will entertain to the fullest.  Very accomodating.
They finally found a perfect sacrifice to their god!  Waahhh!!!
You can't escape with these guards! I'm soooo dead!

 Show off!

Tagbilaran Airport

 Is it time for goodbyes???

"Attention passengers! Please fasten your seatbelt and turn off you phones, cameras or any gadgets.  You can only turn on your gadgets when you reached the airport.  Welcome to Tagbilaran Airport, Bohol! Thank you for choosing Cebu Pacific" Oooppsss! Time to make this dream a reality.  Bohol here I come!

That's quite an adventure!  On your way to Bohol, you can already daydream of the adventures you'll have visiting Bohol.  And when it's time to go back to reality, you'll wish to come.

I think I left my heart at Bohol...and I didn't even get the chance to do the island hopping, the dolphin watch, the snorkeling, etc...

Visit Bohol.  You will fall in love with Bohol...I did! It is what it is!

AyosDito.ph: Reliable for Buying and Selling

Let's face it.  There are only few business people uses online marketing.  Small business entities are not that willing to take risks for their products and consumers are not that willing to spend money on stores which they could not see and touch.  What they should know is that, there are reliable online stores they could trust.  And one of these stores is AyosDito.ph.

I am a gadget maniac. I love upgrading gadgets from another gadget.  Being stuck in an 8-hour office work and a part-time instructor at night, I find no time to go to stores and check what's new in the market.  I just go to AyosDito.ph classified ads instead since the internet connection at work and at home were accessible.  Aside from searching for what I am looking for, I also posted an ad about it.  After my ad has been posted, it received reasonable response from sellers of the product I was asking.  In no time, I got what I wanted without affecting my daily activities at work and school.

It is really cool and exciting to receive stuff you bought online.  There is really such a thing like online buying. Worries are less from online frauds.  We just have to check the reliability of the seller we are dealing with.

A friend of mine was so eager to buy a car. He tried the auction but he couldn't afford the bids anymore.  I already have an experience with the online buying so I suggested him AyosDito.ph.  He search used cars and found a lot to choose from.  He was very happy with the result and it saved his time from going to locations to look for a car and finds nothing that he wants with costs that he couldn't afford.  All he has to do at AyosDito.ph was contact the seller of his chosen car.

Surprisingly, AyosDito.ph offers a lot of things!  From car, house, jobs, even pets! Name it you'll find it here.  Since I am also a dog lover, I tried to check ads that sells dog.  My search hits was successful.  I also noticed that from every seller ads, there's additional advertisement that suggests more information or things about what you are looking for.  Just like the ads in this photo.  Aside from buying dogs, they also have an ad on how to take care of your pets' health.

With this generation where technology develops every minute, every hour, every day, we, especially Filipino people whether engaged in business or a consumer should learn to embrace changes.

Shopping at AyosDito.ph make things easier.  You'll find anything you need.  Every information about the product is accurate.  Sellers are credible enough to put your trust on the site.  You won't be sorry.  Many have tried using AyosDito.ph already, it's time for you to try it too.

It is what it is.
